Terms of Service
Last updated: February 21, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the D2E (Debug-to-Earn) platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Platform Description
D2E is a decentralized bug bounty platform built on the Solana blockchain. Project owners register their software projects and deposit USDC as bounty rewards. Debuggers discover and report bugs by submitting reproduction scripts, which are verified through an automated process. Upon successful verification, rewards are distributed automatically via on-chain transactions.
3. User Accounts and Wallet Authentication
Access to the Platform requires connecting a Solana-compatible cryptocurrency wallet. Your wallet address serves as your unique identifier on the Platform. You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys.
- All activity that occurs through your connected wallet.
- Ensuring you have sufficient SOL in your wallet to cover transaction fees.
D2E does not custody, manage, or have access to your private keys or wallet funds. If you lose access to your wallet, we cannot recover your account or any associated funds.
4. Bug Submission Rules
When submitting a bug report, you agree to the following:
- Each submission must include a valid reproduction script that demonstrates the reported bug.
- Submissions must target active projects listed on the Platform.
- You must not submit fraudulent, fabricated, or misleading bug reports.
- You must not exploit discovered vulnerabilities beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the bug.
- Duplicate submissions for the same bug may be rejected at the discretion of the verification system or the project owner.
- You must comply with any additional guidelines specified by individual project owners.
5. Verification Process
Bug reports are evaluated through an automated verification process. D2E strives for accurate verification but does not guarantee that every valid bug will be accepted or that every rejection is final. Project owners may have additional review mechanisms. Verification decisions are recorded on-chain and are generally irreversible once finalized.
6. Payment Terms
- Rewards are denominated and paid in USDC on the Solana blockchain.
- Reward amounts are set by project owners and displayed on each project's listing.
- Upon successful verification of a bug, the reward is automatically transferred from the project's escrow to the submitter's wallet via a Solana smart contract.
- D2E does not control reward amounts, and rewards are subject to available funds in the project's escrow balance.
- Blockchain transaction fees (gas) are the responsibility of the transacting party.
- All on-chain transactions are final and cannot be reversed by D2E.
7. Project Owner Obligations
If you register a project on the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete project descriptions and repository information.
- Deposit sufficient USDC to cover advertised bounty rewards.
- Not deactivate or withdraw bounty funds in bad faith to avoid paying legitimate bug reporters.
8. Intellectual Property
Bug reports and reproduction scripts submitted through the Platform are the intellectual property of the submitter, subject to a non-exclusive, perpetual license granted to the applicable project owner for the purpose of fixing the reported bug. The D2E platform, including its design, code, and branding, remains the property of D2E and its licensors.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to manipulate the verification system or exploit smart contract vulnerabilities for personal gain.
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks, spam, or otherwise disrupt the Platform.
- Submit malicious code disguised as a reproduction script.
- Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.
- Circumvent any access controls or security features of the Platform.
10. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Specifically:
- No guarantee of rewards. Submitting a bug report does not guarantee payment. Rewards depend on successful verification and available escrow funds.
- Blockchain risks. You acknowledge the inherent risks of using blockchain technology, including but not limited to: smart contract bugs, network congestion, transaction failures, token price volatility, regulatory changes, and wallet security vulnerabilities.
- No financial advice. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice.
- Third-party dependencies. The Platform relies on third-party infrastructure, including the Solana network and USDC stablecoin. D2E is not responsible for outages, delays, or failures caused by third-party services.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, D2E and its operators, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount of fees, if any, paid by you to D2E in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless D2E, its operators, developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, any pending on-chain transactions that have already been submitted to the Solana network will continue to process according to the smart contract logic. You may stop using the Platform at any time by disconnecting your wallet.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with established arbitration rules.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16. Contact
